  Over many years, I've haunted many bookstores in many places. Moe's is one of my all-time favorites. Named after the famous founder/proprietor who is still well remembered and loved. In a top class university town like this a bookstore has to be good, both in terms of selection and pricing. Moe's does better than most, at least across several categories I frequent and some real deals, including some hard to find out-of-print titles from time to time. Up on the third floor they have expertise in various specialty and vintage items. Also, there are occasional author speaking and signing sessions, topical community meetings and other gatherings. Out front on the sidewalk, there are enticing discount racks - one offers everything at $5 apiece and the other has $2 deals - great for grabbing something on the fly or during tight budget times (and you can sell your books TO them!). They're considerately gracious, too, maintaining a public restroom on the second floor (get a token at the 1st floor cashier counter to work the lock).
